Confronting Unconscious Bias: Be the Force of Change
Share this program with a colleague.
Overview
As we focus on combating racism, it is not sufficient to call for increasing diversity in the workplace. Being educators means that we should take an active role in disrupting all forms of discrimination. We must start with ourselves in addressing all barriers by constantly challenging our own biases and these of others.
To foster equitable practices, this training module aims to enable the audience to reflect on their unconscious biases by learning how they work and affect our decisions. As a result, participants will be able to recognize their own unconscious biases and challenge them, ultimately advancing diversity and inclusion in their personal and professional contexts.
